Endowment Fund

In 1997 the Friends of the Marysville Public Library established an Endowment Fund to receive and manage gifts to the Library of a permanent nature. The Endowment Fund is invested and the earnings provide an income for needed items for the Library. The principal of the Fund cannot be spent. The Endowment Fund's value in January of 2020 was more than $300,000.

A gift to the Endowment in memory of someone is a special way to pay lasting tribute to those who have been important in our lives. Gifts to honor special occasions - birthdays, anniversaries, marriages, births - are also a wonderful way to recognize special events in our lives and in the lives of our family and friends.  Donors have the satisfaction of knowing their gifts will result in lasting benefit for the Marysville Public Library.

The purpose of the Endowment Fund is to achieve recognition of the Library as a worthy place for bequests and lifetime gifts, so that the mission of the Library may be perpetuated and enlarged in the community. The Endowment Fund gives citizens of all means the opportunity to make a lasting gift for the betterment of our community. Your gift or legacy can ensure the future
of the Marysville Public Library.

Make a Donation Online Today!

Annual Gift
You can make an annual contribution or outright gift of cash, securities or other
property in any amount. Contributions can be made on a yearly basis or pledged over
a number of years.

Celebration & Memorial Gifts
You can celebrate a special occasion, such as a birthday, graduation or anniversary by
making a gift in someone’s honor. Memorial gifts provide a lasting tribute to an individual’s
life at the time of death.

Bequests
You can support the Marysville Public Library Endowment Fund through a bequest
in your will. This could be a specific amount, a percentage or “all the rest and
residue.”

Life Insurance
You may choose to name the Endowment Fund as a beneficiary of your whole life or
term life insurance. Additional contribution methods include Retirement Plans, charitable Gift Annuity,
Charitable Lead Trust and Charitable Remainder Trust.
