    The 2020 Endowment Fund distribution check of $15,834.97 was presented to Library Director, Nieca Nowels by Friends Board President, Dave Irish. Every year, the Friends make an annual contribution to the Library in the amount of 4.5% of the year end total of the Endowment Fund. The Friends of the library are proud to continue to be able make a lasting contribution to our library.

    Author Annie Hogsett grew up in West Virginia, and earned her BA and MA in English Literature from West Virginia University. Annie is the author of the Somebody's Bound to Wind Up Dead Mysteries. Her series includes the titles Too Lucky to Live, Murder to the Metal, and, coming soon, The Devil's Own Game. She spoke at Veterans Memorial Auditorium on January 21st as part of the 2020 Author Series. All proceeds benefit The Friends of the Marysville Public Library Endowment Fund.

    Friends of the Marysville Public Library gathered for a catered dinner and a short presentation on Thursday, Sept. 19, 6:00 p.m., at the Union Rural Electric Multi-Purpose Room. This year's Annual Celebration honoree is David Speicher, Sr who has spent many years volunteering and serving the Marysville Library and community.  He was presented with a Skygazing book and a copy of the same book with nameplate will be placed in the library for circulation to the public.

    Jennifer A. Davids, an inspirational fiction writer, spoke April 16th as part of the 2019 Author Series. She is a self-professed book nerd. The shelves of her office are overflowing with books and there are stacks of them by her bedside. She lives in Central Ohio with her husband, two children, and two cats. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Library Endowment Fund.

    The 2019 Author Series featured Ohio author A.E. Jones March 19th at Veterans Memoral Auditorium in Marysville, OH. A Paranormal romance and urban fantasy author, A.E. Jones writes about all variations of supernatural. A.E. is the winner of RWA's Golden Heart Award and the Booksellers Best Award. She has been a Holt & Daphne du Maurier finalist. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Library endowment fund.

    Cindy Thomson is an Ohio author of eight historical fiction books, including her newest novel, Enya's Son, third in the Daughters of Ireland series based on ancient legends. Being a genealogy enthusiast, she has also written articles for several genealogy related publications. She spoke at 7 pm on February 12th as part of the 2019 Author Series at Veteran's Memorial Auditorium in Marysville, OH.  All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Library endowment fund.

    The Friends of the Marysville Library make an annual contribution to the Library in the amount of 4.5% of the year end total of the Endowment Fund.  The 2019 endowment fund distribution check of $12,056.45 was presented to Library Director, Nieca Nowels by Friends Board President, Dave Irish and Library Trustee, Anita Tiller.  The Friends are proud to be able to make a continuing contribution to our library.

    Ohio author Addie J. King spoke January 15th at Veteran's Memorial Auditorium as part of the 2019 Author Series. She is an attorney by day and author by nights, evenings, weekends, and whenever else she can find a spare moment. She is the author of six contemporary fantasy novels, including the Grimm Legacy Series, and the Hochenwalt Files Series. She lives in Urbana, OH. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Library endowment fund.
